2021 RELEASE

With the band lineup returning to it's original members, Axis wanted to put together a small offering for the fans. A preview of things to come over the next couple of years.

The Reveille E.P. is a teaser consisting of two tracks from the upcoming 'As Above / So Below' album;. Manipulator and Solstice..

 

Manipulator is a look at how mass media preys on fear to divide and upset the populace to prevent them from fully controlling the world and narrative around them. While Solstice is a song about renewal, rebirth and acceptance. The Witching Hour Mix is a reimagining of Solstice made specifically for the Reveille E.P. by Steven (bassist and co-song writer of Axis).

The remixes of Manipulator range in style from tribal, rock and straight electronic. Showcasing the adaptability of the featured remixers.

 

Trent (vocalist and co-song writer of Axis) takes Manipulator to even heavier heights with V2 Kill All Others and an intro coutesy of John (guitarist and co-song writer of Axis). This will be the album version of Manipulator once 'As Above / So Below' is ready for release...this time with vocals (we promise).

John (lead guitarist and co-song writer of Axis) brings his solo project MusiM to Manipulator with the Arbitration Mix; a mood inducing bass fest of guitars and drums.

​

Dead Leaves Fall flips the genre and takes Manipulator into a more traditional rock direction with echoing guitars and a more compact presentation.

 

AllThisIsMeaningless distills Manipulator down to a slow but powerful tribal rhythmic track with his Remanipulated and Reimagined mix.

Red Red Groove brings Manipulator into a more dance club vibe with his RRG mix.

​

The final track, Waking Up (Ellipsism), is a new take on a song released nearly a decade ago on the Axis debut album 'Death & Rebirth'. This specific track was spearheaded by John (guitarist and co-song writer of Axis) and brings in a melancholic and somber tone fitting the subject matter of the track.

8 tracks coming in around 45 minutes. Reveille presents the new Axis as we move forward into 2022.
